Travelling Tales In April and May 2000, I travelled round the world- to promote 'Amanda's Wedding' in Japan and Australia, see my brother in New Zealand and to pitch 'Looking for Andrew McCarthy' to Hollywood moguls and sharpshooters in Los Angeles and New York. (Given that 'Talking to Addison' takes place entirely in front of either a computer or a hospital bed, it wasn't exactly the most visual pitch to take with me). It was also my intention to meet up with Andrew McCarthy in New York, which didn't quite go to plan, as you will see. I'm reproducing here the genuine (and unedited!) e-mails I sent to friends during this period, so if you want a flavour of what it was like and what I got up to, please read them.
